Lansing Data Club (LDC) focuses on analyzing data to learn new statistical methods and ways to use them. We envision the LDC as a once a month meetup where we will discuss the analysis of various datasets.
The goal is to foster an environment where everyone learns new data analysis methods while working on an open dataset in an exploratory manner. Everyone will likely see something interesting and unique in each dataset while showing others a new way of seeing the data.
Most meetings will focus on data analysis, but some will focus on how to use different statistical programming applications (R, JMP, Python, SAS, SPSS, etc.) and packages within those applications.
